We are looking for a Legal Counsel to provide general legal advice to the internal teams, including a review of general terms and conditions for NDAs and other contracts. This position will administer legal processes and procedures to protect EFG’s legal and business interests in line with business needs, established legal framework, standards, applicable laws, and regulations. The Legal Counsel will be part of the In-house Legal team for EFG (ESL, Faceit, and DreamHack) and the point of contact for colleagues and our partners’ opposing counsel.

The Legal Counsel reports to our Vice President of Legal and is a part of our Global EFG Legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will reside in Germany.

What you’ll do:

• Draft, review, negotiate and amend Global agreements for the ESL Faceit Group (EFG)
• In the EFG Global Legal team tasks will also include providing internal legal advice on all corporate and legal matters related to the worldwide group entities of EFG including talent agreements, sponsorship, and game publisher agreements.
• Research, analyze and interpret proposed/existing laws and regulations to assess and mitigate risks for EFG from a legal perspective
• Liaise with opposing counsel of our partners to align on contract details
• Represent the interests of EFG while negotiating and applying company policies from a legal perspective
• Management and registration of the trademarks of EFG
• General administrative work, e.g. filing contracts to the contracts database of EFG (Google Drive/DocuSign), uploading contracts to DocuSign for eSignature
