The purpose of the Director Project Management – Games is to oversee the operational & financial delivery of all applicable game ecosystems assigned. This role will have up to 5 (Realistically 3) direct reports who are individually responsible for separate Game Ecosystems on an operational level. The Director has to have a high level understanding of the progress, challenges & overall status operationally as well as financially of the projects in each assigned Game Ecosystem. Together with appropriate counterparts as well as the VP Game Ecosystems Operations the Director will also support & steer internal initiatives around operational excellence, scalability & unifying global processes and guidelines.

- This is a remote position with the ideal candidate residing in Europe, preferably in the GMT+1 time zone.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the group of Game Managers for assigned Game Ecosystems, and together with VP Game Ecosystems plan resource assignments
- Keep track of financials & report on a regular basis
- Oversee planning and execution of assigned game ecosystems
- Responsible to maintain budgets for projects up to date in IO
- Oversee timelines, deliverables, and goals for your project and hold Game Managers accountable for their deliverables
- Make sure that the game ecosystems accomplish financial objectives, continuously following up and identifying variances
- Identify, create & implement guidelines, process & tools to further streamline our project management processes globally

Must Haves:
- Project management experience, planning, initiating, monitoring, and implementing events together with a team
- Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to carry out several tasks at the same time
- Must have 3+ years experience leading & managing a team/department
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in the English language, both spoken and written
- Basic spreadsheet skills in order to deal with financials & other planning/analytic documents
Nice to Have:
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of esports and gaming
- Presentation skills to properly communicate ideas, concepts & reports
