As the Director of Operational Support. you will be accountable for supporting the implementation of the global and regional business strategies to local markets. You will have a major focus on supporting the global operations by driving and implementing strategies across multiple departments.

This means creating, enacting, and leading processes/procedures across multiple departments, including: Travel, Event IT, Stock & Logistics, and Partner Operations

The Director of Operational Support reports to our SVP Project & Event Operations and is a part of our Global Project & Event Operations team. This can be a remote position in Europe with the ideal candidate residing preferably in Sweden.

What you’ll do:

  • Build the best Operational Support department the world has to offer!
  • Oversee communication internally with other departments & make sure information makes it to the right people/teams in a timely manner
  • Drive innovation and apply best practices across the given departments
  • Quickly adapt to changing needs/priorities, presenting effective and timely resolutions to each hurdle you encounter
  • Manage operational budgets & resource management, particularly when it comes to employee travel/hospitality
  • Measure and support team morale, identifying pain points and creating lasting solutions
  • Power financially efficient programs, and identify cost savings opportunities throughout the organization’s operations

Must Haves:

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated excellent ability to communicate in the English language, both spoken and written
  • Experience in international operational environments
  • Understanding of esports in general (no specific esports experience required)
